People, if you have not tried the "sloppy joe" (pastrami) sandwich, you are truly not living right. This sandwich is one of the most delicious sandwich ever! The flavors collide into a watershed of savory tender yumminess. I can't even....but, what I can express is that the sandwich is so big you can easily share it or pair with a cuppa soup. Sorry, forgot to take a photo, but trust me.

Food - 4.2 service - 3.5 ambiance - 4 I got the cranberry turkey panini sandwich with cole slaw side and potato salad. I was pleasantly surprised. Solid food stop in Fredericksburg. I did think the sandwich could use a little more butter- it was not as oily a panini as it should have been (it wasn't at all). But it was flavored well and the sides were delicious. The slaw was an Amish style.. very fresh and healthy tasting. The service was extremely slow. There is a restaurant there too so that's probably why. Next time I swing by the area I will try to make an order in advance.

The food at Basilico is fresh. Their sandwiches are distinctive. I am fond of the Fontina-apple sandwich on a croissant. Their citrus salad has a really delicious vinaigrette, not too acidic, not too sweet. Their desserts are delicious. They have a vast array of choices. Cakes, cannoli, gelato, and my favorite the crème brûlée. It is absolutely sublime. I have not eaten in the restaurant because I am disabled and cannot travel. I can pre-order and my husband will pick it up or I can have it delivered by one of the gig delivery services. However, if you can go there yourself or have somebody pick it up, this is my recommendation, so Basilicos will get all of, the revenue from your purchase! Lisa T

Great food great service and outstandingly clean. Entrees are amazing and the bakery sweets are bar non... THE best!

The food and service are amazing. My mom and I dropped in for a bite to eat and were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed our meal. The pizza and potato salad were excellent. The staff is very friendly and attentive. And, just when you think you're full, a glass case filled with every dessert you could dream of, will call out to you. Not a pastry, cake, tart lover? That's ok, because their ice cream is top notch!!! We'll be back to enjoy this sweet lil gem!!!

Basilicos for the win once again! I just love this place and the food is delicious. The steak stromboli is the best I've had. I made the mistake and bought pre made ones from Wegmans this past week... and had to order this to recoup from the disappointment. I also ordered the lobster bisque which is amazingly thick and creamy. I haven't tried the cake yet, but I know it's going to be tasty!

We stopped in, after looking up on Yelp for a place to eat, and it was great! The atmosphere is a bit more casual - which was fine, and the food - truly amazing. I enjoyed a pastrami on rye w/swiss and mustard - the pastrami was so very tender - actually writing this I am sorry that I don't have any more!! I had ordered it with a side of coleslaw - and somehow ended up w/fries instead, minor oops. Wayne went for a hot Italian sandwich with a ton of very good Italian meats, cheeses and veggies. The team of servers and cashiers were friendly, shared info and all was well. Oh, and we struggled to avoid dessert - holy cow - it all looked sooooo awesome.

I first tried this restaurant in 2021 and I remember having tried the fettuccine Chicken Alfredo (good), the Mac n cheese (great), and the carrot cake (bad). Now I've returned to see if the place is as good as I remember. I had a to-go order of the chicken fettuccine Alfredo $17.50, the custom chicken sandwich on ciabatta bread with a side of Mac n cheese $12, a slice of Oreo cake, and sampled the Oreo gelato. The chicken Alfredo was okay but definitely not as good as I last remembered and it's also crazy how the small amount of chicken given was an additional 5 whole dollars (ridiculous). The custom chicken sandwich on ciabatta bread was solid but nothing special. The mac n cheese was very good and easily the best item I've tried. The Oreo cake was pretty bad tbh and I definitely wouldn't get it again. The Oreo gelato I tried also wasn't good.
